Upcycled Room Scenter Workshop

Discover a simple, sustainable way to scent your space in this hands-on Room Scenter Workshop — a concept uniquely created by UnPackt.

Participants will learn how to craft a child- and pet-friendly, flameless candle/diffuser alternative that lasts 9–12 months, offering the benefits of a diffuser without the need for refills.

Beyond crafting, the workshop introduces low-waste living, showing how small, thoughtful swaps can reduce everyday consumption.

✨ Perfect for beginners, families, and anyone looking to explore sustainable living in a fun, practical way.

The Interchange

Activity Booth

As part of Mandai’s Go Green Weekend on 23–24 May, The Interchange is bringing something truly first-of-its-kind to Unpackt’s space: a live, on-the-spot upcycling activation where waste becomes product right before your eyes.

On Day 1, we’ll collect trash from around the park, clean it up, and hand it straight to our on-site sewist who will transform it into upcycled goods in real time at our booth. Unpackt can also pre-collect materials like soft LDPE plastics, drink cartons, and chips packaging to add to the mix.

On Day 2, everything made the day before goes on sale, with a portion of proceeds donated to charity. We’ll also be capturing the entire process on video and live stream, so the activation reaches well beyond the venue.

It’s hands-on, it’s visual, it’s shareable and it’s a story Singapore hasn’t seen told quite like this before.

Semula

Activity Booth

Witness the magic of the circular economy in action! In this hands-on activity, we take everyday plastic waste—like milk bottles and bottle caps—and give them a second life.
You’ll watch as our extruder melts down shredded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) before injecting it into custom molds. In just minutes, what was once “trash” is transformed into a durable, multi-coloured Semula Carabiner. It’s more than just a keychain; it’s a functional piece of art and a tangible reminder that waste is only waste if we waste it.
